"Larry Poons", is based on a painting Orange Crush, 1963 by the painter Larry Poons. In this case, the appropriation of the painting is alternated with a different color of gradient in the background. Another alteration is that the name is on top of the print in a transparent ink with the Nike symbol. The idea behind the work is just my interest as an artist like Larry Poons, when you research his career, you found that he was really successful and left everything to go back to the studio for a long time. I'm interested in the idea of artistic careers, as a way of metaphor of success, or in other words his career it's one of them that really stands out for being different.
